Meta Platform Data & WhatsApp Business Account Data Deletion

In compliance with Meta Platform Policies and General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), Nevo provides users and restaurant partners with complete control over their personal information and Meta Platform Data.

To request permanent erasure of your data, email our Data Protection Officer directly at [email protected] with your registered phone number or restaurant subdomain. Requests are processed within 30 days.

1. How to Delete Meta Platform Data & Remove Nevo Access

If you connected your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) or Facebook account to Nevo, you can revoke access and trigger data deletion by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your Facebook / Meta account and navigate to Settings & Privacy ➔ Settings.
  2. In the left sidebar, click on Security and login or Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites).
  3. Locate Nevo (or Saleboard) in your active apps list.
  4. Click Remove. Check the option to delete all posts, videos, or events that Nevo may have published on your behalf.
  5. Meta will automatically dispatch a de-authorization callback to our secure servers to disconnect your WhatsApp account tokens.

2. How to Request Deletion of Order & WhatsApp Communication Logs

For restaurant guests who have received transactional order confirmations or POS digital receipts via WhatsApp:

  1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
  2. Include the phone number associated with your WhatsApp receipts and the restaurant name.
  3. Our Data Protection team will verify your identity, purge your contact record, and confirm completion via email.

3. Data Retention Exceptions

Certain transaction and invoicing records may be retained in anonymized form for statutory accounting, taxation (FBR audits), and fraud prevention purposes as mandated by applicable corporate laws.
